It BSODs frequently or freezes with "Display driver has stopped working and has recovered successfully". My PC has given up. I dunno why it is showing Windows 7 installed on Disk D:, while it is actually installed on C: ?? Also, when booting safe mode it said something about a Windows update not correctly configured, could this be the issue?

All I'm worried about, is that my settings and softwares stay intact. Make is a seagate currently trying to find the box which it came in for more information of which type.
