This has worked for me (we do a lot of DELL Latitude and Precision machines). It is neither the computer nor the user that is the problem! Clearly, the fixes are not available on this board. It would probably be safe to say that substituting the built-in keyboard would resolve its problem and probably the touch pad freezing problem as well!Regards,John. Upgraded office to Logitech K235 kbd/mice. Since some 3x version of Chrome this also happens when I start scrolling when the new tab is loading. Another similar problem is the "audio bug" which raises or lowers, maintains volume on full or switches off or even gets you chasing the volume control up and down the scale resident virus). Would love to know if you find something else that works for you. Check This Out I think I've given up on that one.

I can only get it back if I restart the computer. Change the refresh rate and "you're ready to go, right?!" Wrong!? There seems to be a common link between this problem and people whose touch pad uses Synaptic's touch pad driver. but anyway, see if you can recreate what I did.
